The OPTIX MICRO ZW-XOTKtcdD MC201 cables: are a family of micro-canalisation client cables for micro-tubes of upwards of 3.0mm in inner diameter. A lightweight construction with a small overall, strengthened by aramid yarns, water blocking gel (WB) for fibre protection, fully dielectric, a black HDPE (0.3mm) coat – resistant to UV radation, installation tension strength of 150N, temperature range between -20°C and + 70°C – an equivalent of: ZW-XOTKtcdD.
The Micro GROOVE cable has a carbonated outer shell which makes the blowing-in of the cable easier.
All cable fibres and tubes are colour coded acording to the “EIA/TIA-598” standard. Each tube containing up to 12 optical fibres is filled with a hydrophobic gel to protect the fibres from the effects of moisture and vibration. Two threads are molten into the coat (ripcords) and serve to ease the removal of the outer cable layer. The cables are meant for a pneumatic installation (blowing).
