The battery is designed to use in buffered system – power supply with UPS function. The life time for this battery is more than 500 cycles ( or life time is 10-12 years for 20-25oC) of charging and discharging. The battery type is AGM (Absorbent glass mat) a class of VRLA battery in which the electrolyte is absorbed into a mat of fine glass fibers. The plates in an AGM battery may be flat like a wet cell lead-acid battery in a rectangular case. Specific power of this battery is very good and it can be charged and discharged quite rapidly.

It is recommended to charge this battery by external charger before connecting it to AD-155 series power adapter.
