OPTIX ZW-(NV)OTKtsd cable: a light multi-tube construction, great flexibility and durability against dragging, a central strengthening element (FRP rod), gel and a water blocking construction (WB), moisture absorbing yarns (WSY) and an anti-humidity tape fully dielectric, a double shell: black LSZH (UV radation resistant) and NYLON (PA) – anti-rodent protection, temperature range between -40°C and +70°C – a ZW-(NV)OTKtsd equivalent. Maximum installation tension: 1200N.
All fibres and tubes of the cable adhere to the “EIA/TIA-598” colour coding standard. Each tube containing up to 12 fibres is filed with hydrophobic gel for anti-moisture and anti-vibration protection. The core of the cable is being protected against water penetration by moisture absorbing yarns and anti-humidity tape. The cables tubes and filler elements are twisted along a central strengthening element – the FRP rod. Two threads are molten into the coating (ripcords) and serve the purpose of easing the removal of the outer cable layer. The use of a non-flammable, non-halogen outer shell makes the cables resistant to flame spreading and the shell layer made with Nylon (PA) provides anti-rodent protection. The cables can be used both inside, as well as outside of buildings, or building constructions. The are meant for installation in closed spaces, tunnels, in tele-technical primary and secondary canalisation by pneumatic (cable blowing) and mechanical (cable pulling) means.
